I happen to have Cuba Shadow by fragluxe, which is very similar to Bleu De Chanel. Offers a few hours of longevity, sillage is very low. I don't see the point in paying a lot of money for Bleu de Chanel, so Shadow is a good substitute albeit not a perfect copy.

I am thinking about buying Bleu de Chanel EDP for college/meeting with friends/throughout the day. Tried a sample and i like the scent. I don't go out often (and i already have 1 million for that). Copy-paste composition and quality definitely not on par with Guerlain Homme Intense, Amber Pour Homme Intense, or Grey Vetiver (EdP). Absolutely shambolic and embarrassing when it's placed next to Antaeus and Egoiste at Chanel boutiques. Even the dull Allure series is much better. I read a lot saying Bleu de Chanel is generic or that many other scents smell Bleu de Chanel. But I really want to know which ones are actually very similar to it to the point that they’re indistinguishable in the air.
Curious what the consensus is here between these two. I've been wearing the parfum version and am enjoying it. I get about the same performance out of the EDT. The Parfum seems a bit more classier and I much prefer it over the EDP. Bleu de Chanel EDP is just as, if not more versatile than its younger EDT brother. While the EDT is more of a warm-weather scent, this one can be worn year-round. It’s great for both easy daytime wear and for catching attention during an evening event. So I just got a 5ml sample of Bleu de Chanel edt, expecting good things based off of the amazing and consistent reviews. Put it on skin about 30 minutes ago and off the bat I hated the opening. And know that it has dried down, it’s even worse!
