The newer black straps currently on the OTG is crafted of leather, meaning if there are issues in the future, LV will replace these at cost (unless it's a defect). With canvas items, LV almost never does any repair or replacement of cracked canvas . I have an older style cross-body bag called the Marly pochette bandouliere, which had all-canvas . Does anyone have Celine cabas drawstring cuir triomphe bag. I am considering it for work to carry my 16inch Mac book pro and some other purposes. Please let me know if leather holds up well. Nov 15, 2022. #4. I have the gm and mm both. The MM gets used alot more often since it's the perfect size to me. I can fit my iPad, wallet, phone,etc and still have room. I have it in black. The Gm is a gorgeous bag , I just tend to not use it as often. Mainly traveling. After months I got my hands on the onthego, im so happy with it! I love the reverse color. But there are 2 problems I think the bag is to big and heavy for everyday use, I bought the bag with the tought to use it daily. Now I’m in a doubt to return and buy the soft trunk, but Don’t know for sure because maybe that one is to small for daily. Everyone had this bag one time or another. I know I still have it in a dust bag in my closet. I think the LV OnTheGo can have the same problem with the giant monogram. I prefer the Dior, but I am biased towards Dior usually. I agree - this is a substantial bag. The attention to detail is very appealing to the eye. Although comparable in size to the neverfull this bag is heavier - the canvas is much thicker allowing it to stand up right on its own - it’s not a floppy bag and because of that I feel the price point is appropriate. The weight is 2.4pounds, not heavy at all and because it's so structured it feels smaller than what i expected.
